Meet David
David Procter, M.Ed, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate Supervised by Mark Cagle LCS
I specialize in working with teens and young adults, helping clients navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship conflicts, and ADHD. My approach is a good fit for those looking to explore their identities and heal from negative past experiences. I am committed to providing a safe, supportive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals, affirming their identities and experiences. Understanding the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community, I actively foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where all clients feel seen, heard, and valued.
I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy. I believe therapy works best when you feel heard, seen and understood and tailor my approach to meet my client’s needs. My therapeutic style is collaborative, strengths-based and prioritizes building a strong therapeutic relationship.
Whether you’re dealing with a specific issue or simply want to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgmental space, I am here to support you. Appointments are available for both online and in-person. I offer sessions at a reduced rate, so that therapy is more accessible.
